Company Biography
Like most good businesses Mac Centre's origins were forged in the spare bedroom of its founder. Inigo Evans, who launched a small Apple Computer sales and consulting business called "Macs and More" from his home in Coogee, Sydney, in the year 2000. After building up some loyal customers Mac Centre Pty Ltd was incorporated in 2003 and Evans moved into his first business premises, an office in Bondi Junction, also in Sydney's Eastern suburbs. Staff were subsequently employed and the company grew steadily over the next three years.

In 2006 Mac Centre expanded into its first retail presence, in Surry Hills, the heart of Sydney's creative business community. A larger shop and service centre was required in 2009 so 241 Commonwealth St in Surry Hills was chosen to house the state of the art service centre (in Shop 4) and new retail store, complete with a new generation training centre and managed services hub.

Mac Centre now employs over 15 staff covering sales, service, consulting and operations. It caters for the entire spectrum of Apple users from home users to large institutions, and specialises in supporting the creative and smb (small to medium business) communities with onsite consulting, integration and managed services.
