Technologies Mac Centre's  engineers are experts in commissioning hardware and software into new or existing facilities, whether they are large or small. As part of Apple's Consultant Network, we work with Apple's Mac OS X Server, XServe, Mac Pro and Mac Mini servers - and XSan environments. Our team are experts at configuring all the Mac OS X server core services such as open directory, DNS and DHCP. We also work with fibre, ethernet, SCSI and iSCSI protocols and various complementary storage vendors such as Active Storage, Promise, Caldigit, Enhance ProAvio and Drobo.

Security and Mobility Mac Centre is aligned with Juniper to provide and configure best of breed networking and firewall appliances. We can configure VPN and multi site WAN links over SHDSL, Fibre or ADSL2 that we provide as an Internode Approved Partner. Collaboration Mac Centre is a Kerio Preferred Partner, and we have installed and maintained many Kerio Connect mail and collaboration servers. This inexpensive, reliable and easy to maintain software runs on many different scales and is cross platform between Mac, Unix and Windows. Kerio Connect runs smoothly alongside other services on Apple's OS X Server and is gaining a lot of traction replacing Microsoft Exchange servers. Kerio Conect can be installed on premise or hosted at Mac Centre's data centre.

We also provide integration and support for HansaWorld, BCC Ad Systems, MYOB, Traffic and Streamtime ERP systems, in addition to tailored FileMaker Pro databases. We also integrate Google Apps suite of products into businesses that want to use cloud based business software.

Backups and Disaster Recovery
Mac Centre has experience with many software backup applications such as Archiware PresStore, Crash Plan Pro, Atempo Time Navigator, Retrospect, Chronosync and of course Apple's Time Machine. We are experts at designing backup and archiving regimes (nearline and deep) to suit the needs of each client. We also host an offsite backup facility that works in conjunction with Crash Plan Pro to allow for continuous backups from your servers and client computers, wherever they are in the world.

Storage and SAN Mac Centre has engineers who specialise in RAID systems from Drobo to Active Storage and beyond.  Whatever your required capacity, speed and budget we will have a solution. We also work with Apple's XSAN and Tiger Technology's metaSAN for high availability storage solutions.

Cross platform Networks Many companies wish to switch their servers or client workstations from Windows to Mac and we are experts in migrating the data and making the transition as smooth as possible. We also understand that in some cases, companies require Windows servers, for Terminal Services, for example. Our engineers support and install Windows and Linux servers and clients, in addition to Apple Macintosh based systems. Office print setups, including larger multi-function units, can also be managed by our engineers.

Design and Print Workstations
Mac Centre has a long history of supporting the design and print industry with our knowledge of staple software such as Adobe Creative Suite, font management and PDF control. We also configure digital asset management software such as Canto Cumulus and Extensis Portfolio. We perform colour management on displays and wide format printers and work with RIPS.
