Some RAM we recommend for Macintosh computers is higher spec than the minimum required. However, the faster RAM is downwards compatible and is more likely to be usable when you upgrade your computer. The price is usually equal or cheaper. In the rare event of it being more expensive we will offer the cheaper, slower rated RAM.
