Program Information

The Mac Centre On-Site Mac Repair Service is provided for our SME, Enterprise, Government and Education customers. By using this service, you accept the terms and conditions as outlined below.

Items that qualify

The Mac Centre Service Centre Repair Booking service is available for the following device types:

  • All Apple Mac desktops and laptops

For all other Apple branded devices, including iPhones, iPads and Apple accessories, please see our Service Centre Booking. If you have issues or claims for any device not listed, please contact our Sales Team.

Please Note: Due to safety concerns, we are unable to provide this service for any device where damage to internal batteries is likely to have occurred.

Creating a Booking

You can create a On-Site Mac Repair Booking by completing the form here.

Users with access to our Enterprise Repair Service Portal can login here to create and manage bookings.

Once the booking has been created, the nominated contact will receive a confirmation email with the booking reference number.

Please Note: If you have multiple serialised devices that require repair, each device will require its own booking. Each time you submit the booking form, you will have to option to add additional devices.


This service is provided to locations within 25km of our Service Location in Surry Hills, Sydney NSW. If you use this service and are outside the above areas, additional travel time may be added to the Service Fee.

Pricing & Inclusions

This service attracts a minimum service fee of $220 inc GST per device*. This fee includes:

  • callout and travel costs for one of our Certified Apple Hardware Technicians to visit a listed approved place of work (Assessment Visit).
  • during the Assessment Visit, the Technician will complete required Apple diagnostics to determine any fault and warranty coverage.
  • once the assessment is completed, we will provide a quotation for any service or repair required.
  • if required, a subsequent visit (Repair Visit) will be scheduled to complete the repair (see below for any additional charges that may apply)

*If you have more than three (3) devices that require repair, contact us for special pricing.

Warranty Repairs

If a fault is determined to be covered by Apple standard warranty, Consumer Law coverage, or any AppleCare programs:

  • replacement parts will be ordered from Apple
  • a second visit (Repair Visit) will be scheduled to complete the repair. No additional labour charges are applicable for the Repair Visit.

Mac Centre is an Apple Authorised Service Provider and all repairs use only genuine Apple parts – complete with an Apple warranty, honoured here at Mac Centre and at Apple locations around the world. Find out if your device has AppleCare, by following the link and entering your serial number here.

Out-of-Warranty Repairs

If the fault is not covered by an Apple warranty, our Technician will provide a written quotation for any parts and/or labour required to complete the repair. Additional Labour will be charged at our standard Repair Service Rates with any callout fee waived.

Once the quotation is approved:

  • replacement parts will be ordered from Apple
  • a second visit (Repair Visit) will be scheduled to complete the repair


Unless otherwise approved, all fees relating to your repair will be required to be paid in full before collection or return.

Customer Obligations

  • Customer agrees to cooperate with the technician, provide full access to the Covered Equipment and provide access to power at no charge to Mac Centre
  • Ensure that the workspace has good levels of lighting with a mixture of natural and artificial light (if possible)
  • The space must have adequate ventilation to provide fresh air, as well as temperature and humidity control.
  • Provide technicians sufficient space to perform repairs with at LEAST one square metre per repair.
  • Work space table should be stable, strong and should be at a practical work height.
  • If you fail to provide access to or be in attendance at the Covered Equipment’s location at the designated time for the Mac Centre technician to perform service, service will not be provided and you may be liable for additional charges for a subsequent visit.


The requested personal information (name, address, phone number and email address) are necessary to proceed with the request for service. Your email address shall be transferred to Apple Pty Ltd for the purpose of submitting to you a survey on your satisfaction for this service. This will be treated by Apple Pty Ltd in accordance with Apple’s Privacy (apple.com/legal/privacy) and will never be used for marketing purposes. By providing your email address you consent to this transfer and use by Apple Pty Ltd for this purpose.

Standard Repair Services Terms and Conditions

  • All devices are left with Mac Centre Pty Ltd at owner’s risk. Mac Centre Pty Ltd will not be responsible for any loss or damage to the equipment, its accessories, software or data howsoever caused. We advise you to backup all data before submitting your computer. We can backup your data for a charge but we take no responsibility for that data.

  • Any claim for faulty workmanship is limited solely to the rectification of the faulty work, to be provided at no additional charge.

  • All iPods, iPhones and iPads that are submitted for service or warranty replacement will not have the data maintained.

  • Warranties only cover hardware issues. All software issues will attract a charge. This includes data transfer, operating system and other software installations.

  • Proof of warranty may be required to make any warranty claims.

  • All new goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

  • Service parts or products are new or equivalent to new in performance and reliability.

  • Service Parts and Pre-owned items carry a 3 month return to base hardware warranty unless specified otherwise.

  • Title of goods listed remains with Mac Centre Pty Ltd until full payment is received.

  • You agree that equipment not collected 90 days after completion or attempted contact with you will become the property of Mac Centre Pty Ltd and sold to recover costs.

  • All non-warranty work attracts an inspection fee. The inspection fee is non refundable.

  • 3% surcharge for AMEX payments apply.
