Shipping and Returns
To keep the process simple we charge flat shipping fee of $9.90 per order for delivering goods. Some orders might contain multiple items that have significantly disparate availability times or location. If multiple shipments are required only one shipping cost per order will apply.
We do not send goods to countries outside Australia. Please do not order if you do not have an Australian billing and delivery address.
We have distribution partners in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth (depending on vendor). Once your order is placed, it is imediately processed and in general will take between 3 and 15 business days to be processed and shipped. If the computer is a “built to order” or cutomised configuration, the shipping time will increase to approximately 10 – 15 business days.
All shipments are sent with couriers or registered Australia Post and will require a signature of an adult upon delivery. The courier companies will not deliver to a PO Box or leave a package without a signature so you might want to give your work address or another address that you know is occupied from 9 am – 5 pm Monday to Friday. The courier companies and Australia Post will not deliver on Saturday or Sunday.
Sometimes the order will be split if one or more of the items are unavailable while others are available for shipment. Our team will seek your advice as to whether you require a split shipment in this case. There will be no extra charge for split shipments.
Out of stock or Unavailable items
We endevour to make sure that all items are redily available. If we are unable to deliver your order to you within 14 days of receiving your payment, you may cancel the order and receive immediate refund or change the order to a more readily available item.
This does not apply to “build to order” items where we cannot guarantee any delivery date, although we will give an indication to the best of our knowledge when the order is confirmed.
Unless noted in the advertisement, all products are new and carry a minimum of a one year manufacturer’s warranty. The delivered goods are insured against loss in transit so that you can be secure in the knowledge that they will arrive. If the items appear to be damaged on arrival you have the right to refuse to sign for them. They will then be returned to Mac Centre for assessment. Mac Centre will not accept returns on physically damaged goods if they have been signed for as received in good order.
If the item is faulty in operation we must be notified immediately on (02) 9281 4444 or email email@example.com and we will give a return authorisation (RA) number, The item should be returned to us with the RA number clearly marked on the packaging within 3 days. If the product is found to be faulty after testing by Mac Centre we will deliver a replacement item as soon as possible, at no extra charge. If the product is found not to be faulty we will not charge for testing but the additional shipping cost must be paid before we return the item to the customer.
Mac Centre is not responsible for the shipping costs or loss in transit of the potentially faulty item from customer to Mac Centre. Only if an equivalent product is no longer available will a full refund be given of the original purchase and original shipping fee. Non-Faulty goods can only be returned at the absolute discretion of Mac Centre Pty Ltd. They must be unopened and undamaged and a 20% restocking fee will apply.
